Airport terminal construction work performed under phased night scheduling

Aviation Facilities

Airport restoration and construction services

Aviation work has rules most contractors have never had to follow. Surfco crews badge in, work under escort where required, keep sites FOD-conscious and phase work around flight schedules.

Terminals, hangars, maintenance facilities and airside buildings all run on constraints that do not exist elsewhere: security screening for every worker, restricted delivery windows, active-area escorts, noise and dust control in occupied concourses, and zero tolerance for foreign object debris.

We plan for those constraints in the schedule instead of discovering them mid-project. Night phasing, staged material handling, temporary barricades and daily housekeeping are standard on aviation work, not upgrades.

How we run aviation projects

  1. Compliance and badging

Background checks, badging and security training completed for all crew before mobilization.

  2. Phasing plan

Work sequenced around flight operations, with night and off-peak scheduling as required.

  3. Controlled execution and turnover

Barricading, dust and noise control, FOD prevention and escorted access in restricted areas. Daily housekeeping, documented inspections and clean handover of each phase.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Are your crews badged for airside work?

Yes. We complete background checks, security training and badging before mobilization, and work under escort where the airport requires it.

Can you work overnight to avoid disrupting operations?

Night and off-peak phasing is standard on aviation projects. We build the schedule around flight operations, not the other way around.

Do you carry the insurance and prequalification airports require?

We are fully licensed, insured and an ISNetworld member, and can supply COIs, safety records and prequalification documentation on request.
