Storm damaged roof on a Northwest Arkansas home with emergency tarping installed

Residential Restoration

Storm and natural disaster cleanup for NWA homes

Northwest Arkansas gets straight-line winds, hail, ice and the occasional tornado. When one of them finds your house, Surfco is the crew that shows up with tarps, saws and dehumidifiers instead of a business card.

Storm losses are compound losses. A tree through the roof means structural damage, water intrusion and often electrical hazards at the same time, and each one gets worse while the others go unaddressed. We triage in that order: make it safe, make it dry, then make it whole.

Because the repair work sits on the same contract as the emergency response, there is no waiting on a separate contractor once the emergency phase ends. The same project manager runs your job from the first tarp to the final walkthrough.

Our storm response sequence

  1. Emergency stabilization

Tarping, board-up, tree and debris removal, and shoring where the structure is compromised.

  2. Water mitigation

Rain intrusion is extracted and the structure dried before secondary damage sets in.

  3. Damage assessment

Full photo and moisture documentation for your carrier, plus a written scope of repair.

  4. Rebuild

Roof system, framing, insulation, drywall, paint and flooring restored under one contract.

No cost, no service call fee. If there is nothing to fix, we tell you and you owe nothing.

Before we get there

  1. Stay clear of downed lines and anything they are touching.
  2. Do not walk on a damaged roof or under a sagging ceiling.
  3. Shut off power to flooded areas at the breaker if it is safe to reach.
  4. Photograph the damage before tarping or clearing debris.

Questions we get asked

Should I file a claim before or after calling you?

Call us first if the property is unsafe or actively taking on water: emergency mitigation is covered under most policies and delaying it can hurt your claim. We document everything from the moment we arrive so your adjuster has what they need.

Do you do emergency tarping at night?

Yes. Storm work is when 24/7 actually matters, and our crews respond nights, weekends and holidays.

Will you work with my insurance company?

We work with every major carrier and provide adjuster-ready documentation. You are never the one explaining the scope.
