Dry ice blasting cleaning production equipment inside a Northwest Arkansas plant

Commercial Restoration

Commercial dry ice blasting in Northwest Arkansas

Dry ice blasting cleans production equipment, structural steel and food-contact areas without water, chemicals or grit: and without the disassembly most cleaning methods require.

The pellets sublimate to CO2 gas on impact, so there is no spent media to collect out of a machine, a drain or a production line. That makes it the method of choice for food processing, packaging, molds and tooling, electrical rooms and any environment where secondary waste is a contamination risk.

It is also non-conductive and non-abrasive, so equipment can often be cleaned in place, still assembled, with far less downtime than a traditional teardown and solvent clean.

How the process works

  1. Assessment

We confirm dry ice is right for the substrate, contaminant and environment, and plan ventilation.

  2. Setup and monitoring

Containment where needed, ventilation and CO2 monitoring for occupied spaces.

  3. Blasting

Pellets accelerated by compressed air lift contamination on contact and sublimate to gas.

  4. Inspection and turnover

Removed debris collected, surfaces inspected, equipment returned to service.

Scope

Where dry ice makes the most sense

  • Food and beverage processing equipment
  • Molds, tooling and packaging machinery
  • Electrical rooms, panels and motors
  • Structural steel and warehouse ceiling deck
  • Fire restoration on structural members
  • Mold remediation in crawl spaces and attics

What you get in writing

A line-item scope, photo documentation and a schedule before work starts.

Daily updates come from the project manager assigned to your job, not a call center.

Questions we get asked

Can equipment stay assembled?

In most cases yes, which is where the downtime savings come from. Complex machinery may still need partial disassembly for access.

Is it safe in a food production environment?

Dry ice is CO2, no chemicals, no water, no residue. It is widely used in food processing for exactly that reason.

What about CO2 buildup in enclosed spaces?

We ventilate and monitor CO2 continuously in confined or occupied areas as part of the standard setup.
