Renovated kitchen with new cabinetry and countertops in a Northwest Arkansas home

Kitchen remodeling in Northwest Arkansas

Kitchens are the hardest room in the house to remodel well. Plumbing, electrical, gas, cabinetry and finish carpentry all have to land in the right order, and the room has to go back into service on schedule.

Surfco runs framing, drywall, paint, flooring and finish carpentry on one contract, and coordinates plumbing and electrical directly. That means one contract, one project manager and one schedule instead of chasing four trades who each blame the last one for the delay.

We handle everything from a cabinet-and-counter refresh to taking a wall out and reworking the whole layout.

If your kitchen is being rebuilt after a water or fire loss, the same crew that dried the structure carries it through to the final walkthrough.

How a kitchen remodel runs

  1. Design and scope

We walk the space, talk through layout and finishes, and produce a line-item scope so you know exactly what is included.

  2. Selections and ordering

Cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures and appliances are selected and ordered before demo so long-lead items are not holding up your kitchen.

  3. Demolition and rough-in

Existing finishes come out, then framing changes, plumbing, electrical and any structural work happen with inspections scheduled.

  4. Finish and turnover

Cabinets set, counters templated and installed, tile, paint, flooring and fixtures completed, then a punch walk with you.

What a kitchen remodel can include

  • Custom and semi-custom cabinetry
  • Quartz, granite and solid surface countertops
  • Tile backsplash and flooring
  • Wall removal with proper beam and header
  • Lighting, outlets and under-cabinet power
  • Plumbing relocation for sinks and islands

What you get in writing

A line-item scope, photo documentation and a schedule before work starts.

Daily updates come from the project manager assigned to your job, not a call center.

Questions we get asked

How long is a kitchen without a kitchen?

Most full remodels run four to eight weeks depending on scope and how long cabinets take to arrive. We order materials before demolition so the room is not sitting torn out waiting on a delivery.

Can you move plumbing and take out a wall?

Yes. Wall removal gets the right beam, posts and footing, with an engineer's stamp where the span requires it, and we pull the permit.

Do you help with selections?

We will walk you through options and what they cost installed, then order everything. You are not left sourcing your own cabinets.
