Residential framing crew building an addition on a Northwest Arkansas home

Residential Construction

Residential framing in Northwest Arkansas

Framing is structure. Load paths, header sizing and connections are what keep a house standing, and they are not the place for a crew that is learning on your job.

We frame additions, remodels, basement finishes and full rebuilds after fire and water losses, plus structural repair on damaged or sagging framing. Every job is built to the plan set and to code, and inspections are coordinated as part of our scope.

Structural repair is a specialty of ours because restoration work brings us into a lot of houses with damaged framing: rot from long-term leaks, char from fire, storm impact and settlement.

Framing process

  1. Plan review and layout

Plans reviewed against field conditions, load paths verified and layout snapped.

  2. Structural framing

Walls, headers, beams and openings framed to plan with correct connectors and fastening.

  3. Blocking and rough coordination

Blocking installed and framing coordinated with plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough-in.

  4. Inspection

Framing inspection scheduled and passed before insulation and drywall.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Can you remove a load-bearing wall?

Yes, with the right beam, posts and footing, and an engineer's stamp where the span or load requires it. We handle the engineering coordination and the permit.

Do you pull permits?

Yes, permits and inspections are part of our scope across NWA municipalities.

Can you frame a rebuild after a fire?

That is a large part of what we do. We remove damaged framing, verify what is sound and rebuild to code.
